It just seems shocking because he's a good player. Yeah i get that. But he isnt even 30 at one of the most sustainable position for longevity, coming off a great season, behind a great oline, with a young talented team who just made the playoffs and was one of the favorites going into this season, a big bulky guy who seemed to be all about football. Seriously it makes no logical sense. This is beyond strange.

I think he comes back in two years and takes over for Brady in New England while the Colts draft Trevor Lawrence. Brady isn’t gonna be done in two years tbh btw Tom Brady has now outlasted every 2012 QB... except Matty Barks

RuskieTitan
I don't believe this. And I won't until I don't see him on the sidelines this season. But dear god... if the Colts suck enough into Trevor Lawrence...
SilverNBlackFan
If he does ever decide to come back, it wont be for the colts. The disconnect must've been huge. They clumsily handled his injury two years ago, and now this. Guy hadnt even practice and they were still saying they were optimistic he will play week 1. The pressure must have mounted on him and here we are.

Gmen
I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. He most likely has over $80 million in the bank. What's the point in continuing to take that kind of beating?

NFL is going to push like hell to make Mayfield vs Mahommes happen now. They just lost a major cash cow.
