whitehops Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 apparently the falcons have gone away from the 4-3 under defense that dan quinn brought with him from seattle and are going more to a 3-4/multiple front defense. not the best time to go against a defense when you have no tape on them... Only chance we have at winning this one will be if the Vikings score more points than the Falcons. If they can't, it might be very hard to win this game. It'd be a bummer to start the season with a home loss so it'll be key to score more points which usually leads to a win. GSUeagles14 Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 yes, julios playing. i think this should be a veeycompetitive game, honestly wouldnt argue too much if you said ______ team will win and heres why. i will say expect a defense cler to 2017, last year our most important guys (excluding grady) were out for long stretches. If X is healthy, he can handle him all by himself. Julio has only averaged about 50 yds a game vs. the Vikings in his career. I don't expect that to change this week. If they're going to get blitzed by anyone, it's either going to be Ridley or Freeman out of the backfield. Five days before the first game against the Vikings, the Falcons are “very, very close” to doing just that.
