People should be embarrassed for thinking a guy who threw 4tds and 0picks and 440 yards while missing his #1 WR and being banged up from last week is impressive? Because he didn’t spread it out enough over the course of the game for your liking? Because he missed a few throws (out of 44). Because he only completed 68%?

reeks of powder blue blinders

If chiefs didnt want to score anymore 😂😂 at that notion considering some plumber the week before was scoring easily on their defense... they would of pulled out Mahomes.

Raiders defense shut the chiefs offense out 3 quarters. They scored 28 points and yall on here gassing em up. Yall should be embarrassed, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.

God it kills you that the Chiefs are good.

Impressive and unbelievable all time and unstoppable are 2 completely different things.

Yes, what Mahomes and Chiefs did in the 2nd quarter was impressive. The other 3, not so much. So yes, 1/4 of the game was very impressive.  Not my gripe.

Im not wrong.. social media (message boards) have berthed hyperbole-generation. Yall hyperbole'd. I am the reasonable one here.

Chiefs have been good for 4 or 5 years. Doesnt bug me. Bugged me more when Broncos were good. They made superbowls and even won 1.

It does bug me that i might be wrong about Mahomes and everyone might be right. That one does bug me. If Mahomes is that dude. Hes gonna be in KC for 10+ years and that could suck.  But at his price tag he might have a bad team around him soon.

Top 25 passing TD seasons.

Stafford/Ryan are the only ones who aren’t absolutely dripping with greatness. Though Ryan has shown he can be great.

I like Mahomes odds a lot. Those are some good names.

11 guys on the list (not counting Mahomes),  by your admission 3 are not great. Thats 27.7% not great. Not a very great stat, js.

If you wanna break it down by the numbers like that, this leaves us with a 72% chance of Mahomes being an all time great.

True. But usually with categorical stats like this, you want atleast a 90% conversion rate of the narrative you are pushing. Not 72%.

Well over 90% of QBs never sniffed 50 TDs in a season.

Theres one for ya.

Thats a better one. Or 5000 yds and 45 plus tds.  End of the day though, it is 1 season. Season 2, two games in he is picking up right where he left off. We'll see where it goes as season progresses. I do think Mahomes looks to be legit great. But anyone who denies he benefits from that system, where he is getting so many more WIDE OPEN targets than anyone in the league and there isnt a close 2nd, is lying. It's ok to admit that.

Also you won't find someone who overthrows more wide open receivers than Mahomes. Good thing for him is overthrows are fixable. Ive watched every Chiefs game, FULL game since Mahomes has been starter, except 2017 vs Broncos. I think most others are scoreboard watching or watching highlights and not seeing the high amount of wide open overthrows. IT'S a real thing. Sure,  it hasnt hurt him from having godly numbers.... that systems helps. What qbs wouldn't ball out throwing to so many wide open guys. Like 6 to 8 yds open.
