He keeps it up against legit competition and he may make himself a top 10 pick.

He's someone Id like the Braves to take a long hard look at with #8. He would fit well in LF.

Knocked them from a top 15 team to unranked and kept us top 3/5, depending on where you look.
BillsGuy82
Jays big 3 prospects had a day yesterday Vlad Jr 4/5 4 singles Bichette 2/3. RBI Alford 3/4 Triple, 2 doubles Alford showing nice gap to gap power, he's gonna be hard to keep down even though we have a crowded OF. I expect him FT by mid season

Those don't necessary bode well for his shelf life. But you couldn't really ask for a better start to a season than what he's had so far. Can he last 6-7 years through his prime for the team that drafts him? If so, get those years and then let him go in free agency. He's had arm issues in the past though. A bit risky, but he's probably the most polished pitcher in the class. Could probably pull a Mike Leake and pitch in the bigs opening day after his draft year if a team wanted to be that aggressive. That's the multi-million dollar question with all of these pitching prospects (TINSTAAPP!!!!). Mize has luckily avoided TJS so far, so you never know.
Thelonebillsfan
The splitter isn't a kiss of death pitch for elbows so much anymore as long as you are mechanically sound and it's repeatable for you. Biggest issue is how hard is he throwing it, will he overthrow ahead in a count to make it dance a little more, how much strain does his motion put on the pitch, etc etc. If he can throw it now with low stress it shouldn't be so bad.
