wackywabbit
So 3 years later, Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack are who we thought they were before medical reports torpedoed their value. footbull3196
Still can’t believe the jags got both him and jalen Ramsey in the same draft class

Luckily the Browns avoided those time bombs and did the reasonable thing and drafted Corey Coleman.

And the Ravens skipped on Myles Jack because of those concerns and drafted Kamalei Correa.

Great news for both those guys. I remember there was talk Smith may never play again and Jack obviously had a really bad injury as well. Glad to see both get paid. minutemancl
One of the biggest draft man crushes I've ever had, next to Aaron Donald, Khalil Mack, Saquon Barkley, and Anthony Barr (can't be right all the time). Its great to see him playing at a high level and getting paid like it.
Tugboat
Seems like a bit too much to me. Jack wasn't that great last year, taking over full time MLB duties. He's fine, but didn't look as good as he did in 2017 playing a swing OLB/MLB role. Wouldn't necessarily put him among the elite of the elite among inside LBers...as this deal is basically paying him. But i guess that's the way contracts go these days, always ratcheting up and leapfrogging the last bunch of deals. Plus, the Jaguars really couldn't afford to let Jack walk, after already having lost Poz last year and Telvin this year, from that superb LBing corps from 2017. Need some sort of quality and continuity at LBer, so Jack probably had all kinds of leverage in that.
