@Mind Character, since you enjoy larger tasks and @mtmmike just asked for your projection on Muti, hit me with all the players you have with a 1st round grade, whether that's fewer or more than 32.

27, 1st Round Picks with my definition of 1st Round Pick Being an "Immediate High Quality Starter with Pro-Bowl and/or All-Pro Upside"

*** List excludes 1st Round Evaluation Players with serious medical flags (i.e., Tua Tagovailoa, Javon Kinlaw, & Netane Muti) and/or off-the field flags (i.e., Willie Gay Jr). ***

  1. Chase Young, DE Ohio State
  2. Jedrick Wills Jr., OT Alabama
  3. Joe Burrow, QB LSU
  4. Jeffrey Okudah, CB Ohio State
  5. Derrick Brown, NT Auburn
  6. Isaiah Simmons, LB Clemson
  7. CeeDee Lamb, WR Oklahoma
  8. Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama
  9. Jeff Gladney, CB TCU

I like the effort from this guy.

I like his natural feel for pass rushing. What round are we drafting him?

Hopefully all three RB are gone by pick 41. If so, law of averages says we'd be all but guaranteed to have a few of these guys to choose from at pick 41. I see you like Gladney too. I'd be down to trade up a few picks if for some reason Gladney, Henderson or Fulton makes it to the 2nd.

Do you have a list of all additional players with a 2nd round grade? So far to be it seems as if mid-2nd to mid-late third has a lot of value this year. I'm curious what you and @BleedTheClock @Horseunit @DaWg_LB. think about trying to maximize picks in that range, a potential trade-down if we don't live our options at 10, maybe to get 26, 56, 68.

Would you be happy taking Muti at 41?

Where's Wirfs?

More than a few mocks saying he is our pick.

My criteria for a 1st Round grade on a player is the following: 1st Round Pick Being an "Immediate High Quality Starter with Pro-Bowl and/or All-Pro Upside"

imo, Tristan Wirfs categorized as a Tackle prospect is not that and does not satisfy that 1st Round grade criteria.

He does fall into that criteria when considering him as a Guard.

As the draftnik and popular NFL media sentiment still categorizes Wirfs as a Tackle, I then thought that I should evaluate him as such.

Below are some of more specified analysis and/or evaluation of Wirfs and ultimately the reasons why I don't see the way many do.

My criteria for a 2nd Round grade on a player is the following: 2nd Round Grade Being an "Immediate Starter Year 1, Quality Starter by Year 2, and High Quality Starter by Year 3. Includes Players with Injury Flags and Off the Field Flags for which excluded them from 1st round consideration.

  1. Tua Tagovailoa, QB Alabama
  2. Javon Kinlaw, DT South Carolina
  3. Willie Gay Jr., LB Miss. St.
  4. Justin Jefferson, WR LSU

  16. Tee Higgins, WR Clemson
  17. Bryce Hall, CB Virginia
  18. Justin Herbert, QB Oregon
  19. Jalen Hurts, QB Oklahoma
  20. Tristan Wirfs, OG/OT Iowa (As a Tackle; based solely on upside)
  21. Jordan Love, QB Utah State
  22. Jordan Elliot, DT Missouri
  23. Julian Okwara, DE Notre Dame
  24. AJ Epenesa, DE Iowa
  25. Matt Peart, OT Connecticut

If the Browns take a Tackle in the 1st then we should look elsewhere outside of the OLine in the 2nd.

If they pass on Tackle in the 1st, they likely should look to taking a Tackle in the 2nd.

Either way, that means that we shouldn't take Muti at 41 given other positional value matching up with high quality players still on the board.

Furthermore, both Robert Hunt and/or Daishawn Dixon are 1st round graded Guards that I have ranked higher than Muti, and they are both likely to be there at 41. I still see Hunt as a successful Tackle, but he'd be dominant at Guard as well.

We won’t draft Cam Akers. I don’t think we will be able to get Winfield, he will be taken in the first round, probably by Baltimore or San Francisco.

I’d be thrilled if we walked out of this draft with Andrew Thomas and Joe Reed in round 7.

Could Matt Peart play guard?

Would love his athleticism and size on the o-line.

I feel like it will be Becton.

1. Bengals - Burrow

2. Redskins - Young

3. Dolphins (trade up) - Tua

4. Giants - Wirfs

5. Lions - Okudah

6. Chargers - Herbert

7. Panthers - Simmons

8. Cardinals - Wills

9. Jaguars - Brown

That leaves Becton.

Does anybody think that the Browns are going wide receiver because to my knowledge they did not make 1 offer to Perriman or Anderson?

Quite a few draft publications have Gladney dropping to us in the 2nd round But I am sold on the guards that will be there

Stef rarely uses 3 WR. He heavily uses 2WRs. So going after a 4/5/6 WR wouldnt be a wise way to spend resources. maybe draft potential in the draft but signing guys doesnt make sense, especially when Hooper and Hunt can play WR

Wirfs and Becton aren’t Bruce Campbell though. They’re actually good and happen to be freaks. I still would take Thomas over them, but give me literally any of the top 4 and we’ll be great at LT.
