the lone star
I think we'll see a 5 seed win in the next 20 years. Maybe sooner than that due to how players are getting rested and having their "load managed" during the regular season.
RuskieTitan
What's the breakdown of full seeds that have won? Have lower seeds won, and just so happens the 5th hasn't? The west has been stacked but also top heavy, as things balance out I can see it happening.

Since you know like 1, 2, 3, ...can go on forever w/o repeating.

RuskieTitan
That's actually pretty mind boggling that the NBA Champions are so top seed heavy.

I'm trying to find out if a #7 seed has ever won the Stanley Cup. I think 1-6 & 8 have, not sure about 7 tho. I hope they expand MLB and NFL playoffs too so we can witness a Cinderella run.
