Does he have much left? He is past the dreaded 30 year old mark.

Nice committee back there with Damien Williams and Darwin Thompson

he was awful last year i dont think he even moves the needle for the chiefs.

Pretty sure as soon as he was cut by the Bills, everyone saw this coming lol. But ye, who knows, maybe he will have some sort of resurgence?

If he's used exclusively as a third down back he could still have some tread left, but anything more is asking too much, he's lost a couple steps.

This comment is close minded and know very little about what Shady has done. Last year was a horrible season for the bills offense. The oline was literally the worst in the league which gave him no shot to make plays as the line was always getting crushed and never made the holes that were needed. Not to mention the qb play outside of Allen gave him little opportunity as teams knew to stack the box. Both sides Shady and Chiefs will benefit from this and he will put around 700 apy this year. He is only 1300 away from the goal he wanted which was 12k yards in a career so he is highly motivated to get there. He is definitely a way better option then Carlos Hyde. Being 31 years old means nothing and he hasnt had any major injuries to cause question on whether or not he can do anything. Im assuming the oline is decent in KC so he shouldnt have any issues bringing a threat to the run game. I wouldnt be surprised he takes the reins at starting come week 3-4.

All the fantasy football people who drafted Damien Williams.  xD   Probably not totally catastrophic in that regard; can't see Shady completely wrestling away the RB1 gig from Williams, but have to think it's going to turn into a serious time-share situation, with a 3rd guy in the mix too.

Good for the Chiefs though.  Much better option than Carlos Hyde, and it's always nice to have a bit of a rotation like that.  Keep everyone fresher, and you've got some built in insurance if anybody does end up going down for any time.  Should be a relatively quick integration for McCoy and the familiarity he should have with Reid's system.
