Reasons For Optimism This Season

We win this year, can you imagine what we'll do next year? We'll actually have a solid stable of 1-2 full years of experience with these young guys. Careful of a Super Bowl hangover, though :)

Next year we have AFC North (Cincy, Pitt, Cleveland, Ravens) and NFC East (Eagles, 'Boys, Skins, Giants), and then someone from the NFC North, and NFC West, so we're going to need as much talent boosting as we can get. That's not going to be an easy schedule.

Revenge against the Browns.  Last two times we payed the Browns, they smacked us.  The Browns.  We need to blow them out to save face.

With the way it's looking, it would be the Rams and the Vikings from the North and West, so it will be an extremely tough schedule next year.

More than likely. And its definitely looking that way right now, but a LOT can change in the NFL.

Getting battle-tested this season, getting playoff experience this season and hopefully adding more depth next offseason should help against a very tough looking schedule next season.
