Forge
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001051055/article/rams-extend-te-tyler-higbee-for-four-years-31m 4 years, 31 million, 15 million guaranteed. I won't lie, that seems high for what he's actually done, but there hasn't really been a big time TE signing in a minute (Graham's deal being short term). The contracts kind of seem outdated when looking around. I expect Kittle to crush the top of the market by close to 30% when he gets extended (14-15 / year would be my guess).
AFlaccoSeagulls
Damn it's gonna suck when we have to pay Mark Andrews like $50M in 2 years.

PFM18
Its the Snead method: Start negotiations with player whilst drama takes place elsewhere. Have contract wrapped up and announced. Contract is decent but will be higher for other teams trying to sign players. Job done. He knows what he's doing.

TheKillerNacho
He's a good blocking TE but this is absurd money

At least he is almost worth that contract relatively speaking here with Higbee.

NVRamsFan
The money cited includes his $2 million he's signed for this year. Five years $31 million a 4 year $29 million extension.

FinSting
And here the Rams go again with another blockbuster contract. This is like the 5th time they've done this since last year.

I don't like Walt, but Charlie Campbell provides good insight.
