How did he lose a lot of money? As always you have no idea what you are talking about. He was due 30M over two years. With his signing bonus, he makes 24M this season alone. Pats sign him again next year? That’s 39M instead of 30M.

Stop speaking without facts like you always do. He made more money by doing this.

How do you know the Pats sign him next year?  How do you know the guy isn't off the team in two weeks?  You seem angry.

The book on Brown is that he's selfish and only cares about himself (stats).  He lost like $20 million and will probably have less stats than he would have had in Oakland.  So if he wants to win, that means people are wrong about Brown.

Of course at the end he's winning.

He losed guaranteed money but who's to blame except him ?  His behavior was childish and not professionnal.

For 99% of player, this kind of behavior ends badly. But he of course, gets rewards as he will receive a decent salary and could end this season with a superbowl ring.

How that is not a win situation for Brown ?

Increased his HoF chances?  Bro, Brown is one of the best receivers I've ever seen.  The guy is a HoF'er without the Patriots.  Lets get that straight.

The $15 million is not guaranteed, from what I read.  Only $9 million is.  He just lost $30 million guaranteed.  That's a substantial amount of money.

I'm not saying anyone should feel bad for him.  I'm saying he paid the consequences for his actions.  He got punished.  I'm over it.  I hope he does well.

lets not act like he isnt gonna make >30 million anyway. Hes too good.

after he beasts this year, he will cash in to the highest bidder

what if all he really wants is to win, and stays with the pats?  If he behaves and does this, he actually makes the media look foolish, is a champion and makes many people on the forum(s) eat crow and look bad. All he has to do (now , finally) is go play football and behave. Can he do that though, it's what everyone that follows the nfl  is waiting to find out.

because his plan worked.

He is where he wants to be.

And he will be on his best behavior this year with the free agency market looming next year.

If all he wanted to do was win, then why did he get himself suspended for week 17 last season with the playoffs on the line?

haha, at least it's entertaining

Wonder if it his time there will be more Randy Moss or Chad Johnson

Moss. The key is that your career path goes 1st team ---> Oakland (where you're unhappy, feel forgotten, fire gets re-lit) --> Evil Empire.

We're all doomed. That WR trio of cast away all-pros will wreak havoc.

He's going to make $30 million if the Patriots cut him in two weeks?  How many teams you think will jump to sign Brown to massive money if the Patriots end up having to cut him for the same reasons Oakland the Pittsburgh got rid of him?

You and others are ASSUMING everything works out for the best.  There's still a chance Brown isn't even in the league next year depending on what happens in the future.
