Going with Portland. I think Whicker makes a great critique that being more specific on man/zone coverage would be great because when you are inconsistent it gives the appearance your defense doesn't know what it is doing.

I don't think anyone has noted this, but, while actives, Hairston and Dawson, Portland CB3 and CB4, played 0 snaps this week.

I haven't gotten into the gameplans yet, but I'm kinda surprised at the runaway Portland victory

Looking into this a bit more, none of my CBs have played a snap outside Mackensie Alexander/Ryan/Trufant.

Guess I'm moving some pieces around next week.

Dont be, I fully expected it. All the talk in the offseason was how I traded what will amount to the #1 overall pick to Hawaii, that my team will have a very bad record. I would've been more surprised if this were a competitive vote. This game was 1 of 3 that got unanimous votes. The other two, one team didnt do a writeup at all.. O.o

So I ended up voted for Portland.

I didn't realize how good that offense is. It takes a special defense to stop it. Here WSR contains most of Portland weapons (Jones vs Hargreaves is probably the biggest mismatch). Unfortunately for them, I just don't see them getting to Mahomes at all. Most of their INT guys are run stiffers, and let's say Burns didn't show me enough to be a legitimate threat for WSR. Portland OL is good too so that's a huge advantage for them. As for the other side, I like WSR plan to attack Portland weak CBs, though I would definitely play Ridley at WR2 instead of Boykin. But Portland playing zone softens the blow for them and they do have good LB/S for that zone.

Not sure this is a blowout, but it's a high scoring affair: 45-27 Portland
