wpdougie2180
Not sure you'll ever find a more talented 3 WR set than Edelman, Gordon & AB. Reed, Moss & Carter.....Thomas, Decker, & Welker.....Monk, Sanders & Clark.....Harrison, Wayne & Stokely.....all immediately come to mind. 49ers had Rice, Taylor & Ed McCaffrey but McCaffrey wasn't really who we all know yet. Who is the best 3 WR set of all time?

ET80
Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Brandon Stokley had a monster 2004, I think? All three had 1,000+ and 10+ that year.

I couldn’t believe at the time that Manning and those guys wouldn’t try obliterating that touchdowns record. It was like he got the record and then respectfully didn’t care to crush it. They might’ve been able to get more than the 55 he got with Denver.
vikingsrule
12 hours ago, ET80 said: Coming here to say this. Agreed. Carter and Reed were a fantastic duo before Moss even showed up, multiple 1,000 yard seasons each which had a lot more meaning back in the 90s. Throw Moss in the mix, you’ve got two HOF top 5 WRs of all time on the same team. MN didn’t really have much stability at the QB position either. Had a few years of Moon, then Brad Johnson became a starter and he got hurt making way for Randall Cunningham in 1998.

SkippyX
There are 5 teams that put up 50+ TD passes Brady 2007, Manning 2004 and 2013, and Mahomes last year are well known. Don't forget the 2011 Packers who got 45 TDs from Rogers and 6 from Flynn They were good to 5 deep (a young Cobb was number 5) You can discount the 2018 Chiefs since Hunt and Kelce were far bigger in the pass game then any WR besides Hill (Watkins missed 6 games) Rice and Owens were only highly effective for one year in 1998 Reed was a 4 TD 474 yard guy who missed 5 games in 1998 (He was very good the 4 years before Moss) I would give this to Wayne, Harrison, and Stokley 2004 for pure WR production on the field. All 3 guys had 1000+ and they combined for 37 TDs. The next guy in receiving yards was Edge who was almost 600 yards behind Stokley.

When you factor him in, the weapons that Manning had those years, along with Edge at RB was just unbelievable.
