GDT Week 2: Niners

I'll try to be at least 50% of what @TheVillain112 did last week.

GAMEDAY INFO

The Bengals will host the Niners at 1:00 PM ET on FOX.  Broadcasting Crew: i really don't know

Matchup

  • Last Matchup: 2015, I assume Bengals kicked some arse
  • 2019 Records: SF49ers (1-0), Cincinnati Bengals (0-1)
  • Spread: CIN -1.5 currently (moving toward Cincinnati, opened at CIN -1)

KEYS TO VICTORY

  • (Weekly statement) Motions, Jet Sweeps, Play Action...Anything that will buy Andy Dalton time behind the OL
  • Get John Ross or Tyler Boyd going for a big day.  The niners have tape on Ross now - can they stop him?
  • Limit George Kittle to less than 10 catches, 140 yards, and 2 TD's.  Who can cover this guy?  Anyone?  Bueller?
  • (Weekly Statement) Limit penalties.  O/U is 5 False start + Holding penalties for the OL
  • Rattle the crap out of Garoppolo.  The Garrochicken needs to be seeing Lawson in his sleep Sunday night.  Wilson got a taste of the rush, but their strong rushing attack kept them Bengals from really teeing off.

PREDICTION

SF - 13, Cincinnati - 27

I think Cincy wins this one comfortably.

Leaving to Iceland today and won't be back until Sunday night, so here's my early predication:

  • George Kittle destroys our D
  • One big run for Breda as well (either a broken tackle or off a screen)
  • Boyd carries us to a W this week in a close game
  • Garoppolo throws us a couple of INTs (hopefully our DBs can catch)

24 - 20 Bengals...
