I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault. Speaking out removes the shame that I have felt for the past year and places it on the person responsible for my rape. I will cooperate with the NFL and any other agencies; however, at this time, I respectfully request that the media please respect my privacy. Quote Lawsuit Accuses Antonio Brown of Rape The Patriots receiver is accused of three incidents of sexual assault, in 2017 and 2018, against a woman who attended college with him. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/10/sports/football/antonio-brown-sexual-asssault-patriots.html

Bolts223
In all seriousness though: I'm generally an advocate in promoting any victims of crimes like this to speak out, but it seems really really convenient that this lawsuit is only coming forth right after he signs with the most hated team in the NFL and while the hatred for him personally is at an all time high. Broncofan
Biggest implication here - the victim is going to cooperate with an investigation. THAT was a key difference with Tyreek Hill's DV investigation, and why it went nowhere. Holy h***, this is going to have to be taken at face value and ultra-seriously by the NFL. The biggest common thread to NFL levying punishment - victim testimony. Well, that and a Magic 8 ball.

VigilantZombie
The timing seems 'convenient'. I'm not about to buy into this until something I'm terms of real evidence comes about. Should it turn out to be true...wtf.
