Imagine how much better he’ll make Montez...

He'll definitely get all the 1 on 1 opportunities he could ask for.  But it won't matter if he can't win them.  I'm hoping the DL coach will teach Montez to stop doing his stupid little stutter steps on his speed to power rush, which leads to him getting stonewalled by the OT 99% of the time.

Please don’t get the draft thread locked. Where else can I salivate over all the extra fourth and fifth round picks we’re going to get for trading away the chance to draft Chase Young?

Twitter. Take that trash to twitter! Haha 😂

I think if they move Dunny they can get a extra 3rd I’d hope. There’s strong talent at positions of need. I really hope these picks in the 3rd and beyond we strike some great value

You mean like corner?

Why move him? hes not the type of profile player I can see justifying sitting out, especially in a contract year where if he plays good  he will get paid the following even if we dont extend him. I would love to have him back but im not paying him top end money when he cant stay healthy and hasnt made a probowl. rather sign bradberry and have him play alongside Dunny, then if Dunny walks next year we can go corner early in the draft

If I can get at least a 2nd for Trent, I'm trading him. If not, then I'd probably extend him a bit.

I'd keep Kerrigan. He's a lifer, & would make an excellent rotation pass rush specialist. I'd extend him as well & bring his cap # down. Draft Young & our D-Line is set.

Our main targets at the moment should be TE & FS. I would look to FA & the draft for these 2 positions. Douple dip so to speak.

I think we can address CB & LT in FA alone. Or by trade if necessary.

Not worried about our LBers at all. Specially if Rueben is back. We could take another flyer in the draft, like we did with Cole.

But the one spot I want filled & #1 on my personal list?

Is a #2 WR behind McLaurin. If we can get a true threat on the other side of McLaurin?

The rest is gravy...Sims will be a great slot #3 for us.

But we NEED that #2 guy. If we can land that guy, then this will open up our run game, or TE's & Haskins options on the field. Not to mention make our O-line jobs a lot easier.

And when I say #2...I really mean #1 talent wise.

Not Some Golden Gate, or D. Heyward Bay or some dude...like Paul Richardson.

I'm talking AJ Green, or Julio Jones, or Emmanuel Sanders level of play.

Get that on the field, then suddenly watch Haskins completion % improve, his level of comfort improve, his sacks take a decrease, our run game improve & TE Hentges open ever pass play.

That...is what this team needs & that will help us win games, imo.

And we have the cap to make this happen. No excuses this time!

I agree. I was being sarcastic, I was pointing out off of @ripsean21 ‘s post.

He’s saying they can trade Dunny for a 3rd - which is debatable given his extensive injury history the last two years & that he wants to more than quadruple his current salary before he plays again - and RIP is saying if we move Dunny we  an fill one of our positions of need and there are great value picks in the 3rd.

My point is that if the Redskins trade Dunny they’ll need to draft a corner in the 3rd to replace him. So, essentially you’re trading arguably a #1 starter in his prime away for a 3rd round pick - you hope - and you hope that player can someday replace him, which is a long shot but possible.

It makes more sense to me to hang on to Dunny, call his bluff bc he’s not going to sit out the year and then revisit this issue a year from now and then decide if you want to re-sign him, franchise him or let him walk next February/March.
