Geezy
Ramsey doesn’t seem the type to budge, think it’s time to trade and and get something back. ultra talented, top 3 CB, but at what point is enough?

This is how you force a trade Show up, be a pain in the a$$ but don't break any team rules, fake injuries they can't prove so that you still get paid and your contract doesn't toll Trent Williams and LeVeon Bell should have taken notes Edited October 13, 2019 by TheGame316

Once a doubter of Jalen Ramsey myself, I have been won over by the concept of In Context as postulated in this matter recently. I have learned that what may seem like simple facts, on the surface, must be considered In Context for a full understanding of the situation. I have become a believer. So I would ask @pwny, what is the In Context of the above-mentioned development? Edited October 13, 2019 by bzane

Isn't his distrust for that, his main issue with them right now? However I am in awe of what Ramsey has accomplished since having the Flu. 😉 Legit been paid for not working in a month, hasn't "yet" been deemed a cancer or trouble maker by the Media , his teammates or masses ala AB. Even though they are basically doing the exact same thing but in different ways! One is just light years more intelligent even at the age of 25 with his Money then the other!!👏👏🍺 Ramsey is absolutely setting the blueprint for any and all who attempt to force their way out, but not lose money! Completely agree. But the challenge is now you have a label of having chronic low back pain. You have to get a team willing to buy that...sure, it he's likely malingering, but it is tough for a gaining team to know that without tampering. KhanYouDigIt
I would just put him on IR at this point. It is quite clear he has no interest in suiting up.

TBH if Khan & co. really weren't having any of it, they'd have put him on the NFI list the moment the specialist cleared him from serious injury and he refused to play. Unless the specialist says there's an issue, they'd be well within their rights to do it. If they had done it before JAX had played 6 games no service time would have tolled, and Ramsey IIRC would have been only at year 3 (for next year), and not eligible for the franchise tag and UFA yet. I know that's a draw-the-line type move, but honestly the Jags are letting Ramsey have his cake and eat it too - he's getting paid, he's getting service time to hit UFA on schedule (yes they have the franchise tag, but he can just then refuse to sign for 10 weeks, then report to let the service time toll, and then do this all over again). And FTR, I think the CBA is way too player-unfriendly. So I don't have a problem with what Ramsey is doing - it's literally his only leverage. It's just that JAX are kidding themselves if they think this response (paying him, letting him sit on roster and get paid but refusing to trade him) is going to resolve the issue. It would really suck if this was an Eagles player doing this, but watching it happen from afar is truly interesting. He has been incredibly successful in drawing a favorable narrative while holding out AND still getting paid. At what point does the Jags front office realize he is a lost cause and quit while they can still get big value out of him? Or are they truly so stubborn as to not realize that he will never stay in Jacksonville past one contract?
