That's just inaccurate. He's serving a 6 game suspension. He will be 30 years old next season. And has one year left on his contract. He is currently playing for the Arizona Cardinals. A team in rebuild. That's not going anywhere soon. They'll be more inclined to trade him as opposed to give him a new deal.

You don't really believe what people say. It's called leverage.

Normally, when the player wants out - he gets his way. If you just let him go, you get a 3rd and 5th for AB, when market value was a 1st. Granted, we did OK, in hindsight.

You just say no until the right offer comes along.

This actually hurts the market and you get less in return and "settle" for a 2nd rd pick.

When, if you're just open and honest, you can use teams against each other. Whether true or not... and create a market pitting teams against each other. And you drive up the market price.

To manage this player you just need to pay him and win ball games. Then you'll make him happy and get funny one-liners.

This trade must begin with Cam Sutton. Because he wears #20. Not too mention is a decent throw-in to the deal. It's better than Artie Burns.

I think it's gonna have to be Tuitt. Because Edmunds doesn't carry enough punch. And the reason you use Tuitt is bc you have Hargrave sitting there hungry for more playing time and waiting to get paid. Now, we're going back to JAX hey day of Henderson and Stroud in the middle with Tuitt. Campbell, Dareus, Tuitt, and Josh Allen is downright offensive. You can't run and they're fly swatters knocking everything down and getting all up in your grill.

You have to include James Washington as well. They have a need here. They're going to want draft pick equity.

Draft pick compensation is conditional higher of MIA 4th or any compensatory pick.

Draft compensation includes a 2021 1st rd pick.

Now, I feel I've given up too much here. Yet, would still do this deal anyway as it drastically alters the back-end

JAX gets players to help them win now. Get picks in the future. As they rally around Gardner Minshew, who is exactly the type of QB that epitomizes that franchise.

Cam Sutton, Stephon Tuitt, James Washington, 2021 1st, and 3rd rd comp for Jalen Ramsey and JAX 5th (via SEA)

Also, Terrell Edmunds is more of a nickel/dime linebacker. Ironically enough, he is the exact position the Steelers signed Mark Barron to play.

Kick him down. I like Reshad Jones. He can play strong safety. Like a 6th rd pick (or future considerations) to MIA.

(i.e. sean davis)

you can give Reshad Jones #40. "Boo" Bell's old number.

Back to Darren Perry and Boo Bell.

Mo Bell, Myron Bell.  Perry was a good FS, lots of picks , but that was back when al micheals introduced the steelers secondary as "the best secondary in the nfl  Woodson and Johnson the corners, Lake and Perry the safeties" . It's quite different now though. Of course, much is very different now and the last several years including how boring the games have become.

His nickname is "Boo" Bell. I think Cope gave it to him. Don't try and correct and be wrong.

We're not trading for Jalen Ramsey.  He costs too much to get from the Jags.  Then you have to pay him on top of that.  Given the Rooney's have a 'no in season negotiations', that means using the tag.  Ramsey won't sign the tag.

We're not trading for Patrick Peterson.  The Cardinals have no desire to trade him.  Other than the trade deadline last year there hasn't been a peep about wanting out.  On top of that you would be trading for a guy that can't even walk into the facility for another 3-ish weeks.  He has 1 year and $13mil left, along with a $7mil cap hit this year, which means we would have to clear at least $5mil in cap to bring him in.
