I see Cole as having much more upside with far less durability issues. Also, Keelan can catch balls, sometimes. Dede has unfixable bad hands. Which isn't what you want in a dedicated slot/4th receiver sort of role. It's a shame, because he does have other talent...but if the guy can't catch the balls he needs to in that role, he's kinda useless.

Maybe because he turned down a $19M offer from the Browns saying he wanted to play for a contender and wouldn't play here unless it was for a sign and trade? This would've been an awesome outcome if the NFL wouldn't have blocked it.

Another valuable pick or two for a rebuilding franchise and a contender gets to add an impact player. Deals like this shouldn't be blocked.
.Buzz
Logs has a few guys this camp who have stood out in a big way to him: - He's been super impressed with James Robinson, thinks he has the whole package (but prefaced this TC was hard to totally know with little contact). - Josh Jones has been no joke and was clearly outplaying Harrison and co. - Likes Colin Johnson more than Viska. Shocked by his route running and the separation he gets at his size. Although admitted Viska is more of a guy who wows you with his physical play style which couldn't be on display without games/more padded hitting environment. But think Colin forces his way into PT and early.

These sort of deals are the intro to basically just introducing a Baseball style cap...where you have teams in big markets who contend, and half the league basically just exists to lose games and feed talent and revenue into the bigguns. I think we all know where the Jaguars end up in that formula. Though sadly, they've more or less found themselves there more years than not anyway. But at least it wasn't fully engineered into the system.

But at least it wasn't fully engineered into the system. We know where they are in the formula which is why this isnt baseball. I have no problem with signing and trade for a pick. Since this isnt baseball its not an instance of where we cant compete because we cant afford top tier free agents, we cant contend because we simply dont have the talent. We have to build that up in house and then eventually we can attract the top tier All 3 parties involved are happy, team, team and player.
