A declining ertz who's gonna cost us a 3rd and wants a new contract no thanks
JaguarCrazy2832
Is Ertz really costing a 3rd though?

Adrenaline_Flux
yeah, he won't cost a 3rd. he's coming off of statistically his worst season and we've seen productive aging WRs go for mid or late round picks in the past. I imagine an aging TE coming off his worst receiving season would require a 5th round value at the absolute most.
Chops013
Saw a rumor that Trey Burton is coming in for a visit prior to the draft. Would make sense with the Urban connection.
skaterbirdhouse
Personally fairly disappointed seeing the James Connor deal numbers this morning. I know I could be in the Minority but I would have much rather paid him 2 Million/year than Hyde. I get the connections between Urban and Hyde but give me Connor in the rotation any day. Would've been nice to just have a guy like Gio here as a vet in the backfield, to just fill out that sort of role and not have to worry about it. But the interest there is definitely in the type of RB i'd expect. It's where Michael Carter in the draft seems like such a natural fit at some point. Seems very Gio Bernard-esque, right down to the Tarheel Blue that's probably overly colouring my perception of that. But if Gio has anything really left, he'll probably feast with Brady...so that's was smart on his part. 17 hours ago, skaterbirdhouse said: Personally fairly disappointed seeing the James Connor deal numbers this morning. Chops013
Hurst will be subject to the waiver wire where we currently sit first in the waiver order. Hoping we put in a claim.

The only real question to me...is, if it has something to do with his heart condition. Which seems like it would be an NFLPA grievance mess waiting to happen. And i'm not sure i'd want our team wading into that, considering all the stuff that came out about the Jaguars organization already.

If it does then I imagine no one puts in a claim as teams would likely get word. This looks like just another dumb move by Gruden and Mayock though imo. If anyone we’re gonna do it, it kinda makes sense for Shenault tbh. Especially if Urban and the new crew start to really use him in some different ways out of the backfield.
