This was a banner day for the 2019 draft class. He looked and played fast, showed off great hands, and blocked really well, including having a key block on Engram's touchdown. He keeps surprising me; I had no hope for him when he was drafted, but he built up some confidence in training camp that has carried over even through injury. Dexter Lawrence got his first career sack and played very well, DeAndre Baker had easily his best game (funny what happens when you let the press man corner shadow and play closer to the line), Xman had a sack, Connelly had an interception, and Slayton played well. We knew he has speed, but I was impressed by his build. He looks like a legit 6’1” 200 pounds. Long arms. Al Davis would be drooling over this guy. Easy to see why the Giants kept him on the roster when they could have easily IRed him due to his hammy and called this a redshirt year.
