Zycho32 Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 We were high on Jenkins once we drafted him, figuring he'd be the eventual successor at this spot or Right Guard. Maybe it's a bit early, but that won't mean much if the guy is a genuine brawler on the field. MacReady Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 As far as Taylor, he had a really strong year a couple years back. Last year he struggled for some reason. Injuries maybe. Elgton Jenkins has looked good in limited action and he might be the next 2nd-4th round Packers OL to turn into a really damn good player. There was an open competition in camp between Jenkins and Taylor. This seems like it was the plan all along, but the injury just sped up the process.
