Xmad
2021 1st rounder I'm assuming. But seriously, why the trades? Is Colbert trying to get fired?
waffles7
Please dear lord baby Jesus, don’t let this be for anything higher than a 6th.....I have a feeling it’s a 5th. I don’t currently know the severity of McDonalds injury but I’m glad they weren’t content with Grimble starting for an extended amount of time with no one challenging him for playing time (assuming McDonald’s injury is lengthy.) VigilantZombie
2020 5th round pick. Leaves us with no 5ths.

I think so. I dont think he has put this team in a good enough position to win. He has got to be on the hot seat. He is acting desperate. VigilantZombie
I don't like that it's a 5th. I think he is a better value for a 6th or 7th. But theres also a report that the Steelers arent stopping here ataddressing TE. If that's true, Xavier Grimble is gonna get cut.
Dcash4
As long as he is a long term option I really don’t care about trading a 5th. If he is here to run out his contract, I’ll have a problem.

Chieferific
1) Luke Wilson would have been an easier solution. 2) I guess Gentry is still a backup? 3) Where's Bucky!
VigilantZombie
We need some key things on their team out of the draft but by the time we get there we wont have any picks left.
Steelers22
There's nothing more overrated than late-round picks in the draft. They rarely amount to anything, if this guy turns into a long term backup TE for us, it's a solid deal. With that being said, Safety and TE depth were obvious needs this off-season and they weren't addressed. As a result, we've now overpaid for two players to fill those needs (Tomlin said the Minkah trade was partially due to Sean Davis being out for an extended period of time). In a vacuum, these trades are fine. However, dealing all of these picks this year makes no sense
August4th
is a he solid number2 type TE? the deal will be worth it if he sticks here as depth for a few years. TE is still a Need tho
VigilantZombie
IF he is a long term player i am fine with it. I think Vance will be cut in the offseason
