Futbudds
Spent today watching the other games on game pass and it pretty much turned into a "would Burfict get suspended if he had made this hit?" Yes, yes he would.

Yes, yes he would. Shazier's hit on Kizer would have Burfict banned for life

Another reason we need Burfict back. Not the cure all for our problems but definitely helps... Right, because the problem they lost was because they didn't have a DEFENSIVE player playing this game, when the OFFENSE was the reason they lost. Makes perfect sense. What about the veterans on the offensive side? If the problem is because they need to look up to a guy on the other side of the ball (and a thug no less) then they have REAL issues regardless if Burfict was there or not. So that's a little harsh, but yeah burifct probably doesn't win this game. Bet he makes a few plays though that pull it a little closer though. Our offensive leaders are quiet (Green, Boling, and Dalton). Do you really think our Defensive players only talk to the defensive players? Come on now. It's an intensity thing, and Burfict turns it up for the entire team...

Which means we aren't starting the next drive deep in our own territory and throw the INT off the deflected ball. After that, the whole complexion changes. Could have gone much differently in either team's favor.

In those games, you need playmakers on your side to make plays. Bengals didn't make a single play that mattered.

The offense should not be looking towards players on the defense to motivate them. That's the coaches job as well as the veterans on the offense. Marvin Lewis has done a terrible job at that though as we all know. I would like to see Dalton get pissed off for once, I've seen it happen to most QB's at one point in time, and I have yet to see it with him.
