I hear you, and maybe it turns out that they have to do it because they don’t have any other viable options. Or that they feel like their ledger book is going to look great in a season or two, with guys like Smith and Reed and Trent and Norman falling off, and they can afford to splurge on some guys. But I guess my point is that it would be the kinda thing where we hold our nose and hope it doesn’t go totally sour — not something we’re really thrilled about doing. We picked up a guy off the scrap heap who most everyone on this forum wanted to be cut (or forced to retired) (or killed), and he’s played about as well at guard as the guy who wants $15M/year.
