1ForTheThumb
After watching football yesterday, I feel a lot better about the Patriots loss. Just some terrible football all around. Paying close attention to the Saints tonight. Lucky for us we get them on a short week.

Absolutely. Hicks made a big impact here, and was still young. They should have committed to trying to get him back.

They should have committed to trying to get him back. They did but he wanted more playing time than the Pats were willing to commit to. Hicks wanted a starter spot so he could earn a big payday - worked out well for him. The Pats had Branch, Easley and Brown projected to get a lot of snaps. Of course, they cut Easley a month later and Brown has stalled out as an average starter. But they won a Super Bowl and butterfly effect etc etc. So it's tough to complain too much. I don't like the commitment to Brown and Easley was the worst personnel decision Belichick and Caserio have made (from the second they turned that card in)

1ForTheThumb
Are we going to act like McDaniels isn't one of the best OC's in the league? (I understand you guys are joking)
mcmurtry86
There was a lot of talk this summer about the Saints D being improved but I didn't see it last night. San Diego, if healthy, should be a playoff contender.
