I think some of the catch all stats can be valuable to paint a picture but through ten games probably way too noisy

Dude's trolling because for some reason he thinks Jayson Tatum can pass and nothing backs that up.

I mean he does average 1.9 assists per game for his career, so obviously he's an advanced passer and creator.

Yeah man. 35th in the NBA in usage, 23rd in mpg, yet still 110th in apg, and 124th in AST%.

Maybe it's a fluke year.

Last year: 115th apg, 126th AST%

Rookie year: 144th apg, 152nd AST%

Guess it's not.

Maybe someone is monopolizing and taking all the assists on the Celtics?

This year: Marcus Smart 36th in the NBA (4.7 apg)

Last year: Kyrie Irving 11th in the NBA (6.9 apg)

Rookie year: Kyrie Irving 27th in the NBA (5.1 apg)

Not that either.

Let's compare him to someone people call a black hole...Andrew Wiggins.

2019: 65th apg, 74th AST%

2018: 93rd apg, 117th AST%

2017: 120th apg, 154th AST%

Okay, that's not good.

Lol but yeah, once he picks it up the offense should be better. Still makes little sense why the offense has struggled so much this season after being a top 5 unit last season.

Makes total sense. The offense flows through Jokic, and he was playing like an MVP last year. At the moment? Not even playing like an all-star. Some other things you could point to as well (Gary Harris is MIA), but by and large the offense is struggling because Jokic has not been playing to his ability. Plus Malone is still tinkering w/ the bench and trying to find a good lineup and rotation.

Nah, they shouldn't drop from 6th to 22nd offensively with pretty much the same squad. Jokic obviously isn't playing to his ability but something has been off all season.

Defense is legit though.
