The good, the bad, the ugly vs. Chi Town (Postgame thread)

Good:

• WE WON!
• We are above .500 going into the bye
• We fought back hard
• Our running game
• Jacobs is the real deal
• Davis has some good returns
• Offensive playcalling on the final O drive
• Foster M made 2 huge catches late
• Playcalling on D/O
• Keeping Mack quiet
• Pass-rush in the 1st half
• Fake punt call

Bad:

• Waller drop on 3rd down
• Joyner was worked by Robinson alot
• AJ Cole didn't have a great game

Ugly:

• The Carr/Jacobs fumble
• The Hurst "penalty", taking away a huge and potentially game changing pick
• The Davis fumble on the goal line
• Second half for the most part
• Timely penalties
• Seeing Mack in a Bears uni
• The almost fumble on the fake punt. Almost had a stroke

Our D stepped up big today. 2 picks (should have been 3), 4 sacks, completely held the run game in check and gave up less than 250 yards I believe.

Gruden and PG not in the good? Both their play calling was amazing today. 

Josh Jacobs was the MVP though, and quite easily. Man he looked like a stud! His vision is Zeke-Like but even better (not saying he’s overall better).

I think you nailed it with the good bad and ugly other than the fumble on the punt because it wasn’t actually a fumble. Can’t blame a player for not fumbling.

Also, there wasn’t a lot of bad. The team straight up dominated but self inflicted mistakes killed them.

Fumbles, roughing the passer even though it was a horrible call, the pitch, etc. 

Joyner got worked a bit though.

For real though, imagine this O without Jacobs and us trotting out Doug Martin. I honestly think this game is over before half. He has absolutely everything except long-speed but who cares. He always gets positive yards.

Hurst had a breakout game too. 2 sacks at big times. Good to see him finally get to the QB after being close. Can't fault him on that BS roughing call though.

Such a great team win, showed a lot of composure by not folding after that 3rd. Things are going to go bad and the other team is gonna make plays, but you have to respond and the Raiders did today!

Yeah, much as I've harped on Gruden this was masterful gameplan. All the ugly stuff was on our players letting the situation get in their heads but to their credit they fought back.
