Yea, Reid had rotating Captains, Chip kept it going...Doug probably avoided changing it up his first year. I think it's a good call with how the team has been...put leadership at the forefront. Focus on your core, because so much of the roster has changed over the years. Youd get one off guys as game captains

There was an anonymous poll taken last year of the players and who they thought were the leaders. Maragos tied for the 3rd most votes after Jenkins and Wentz. It's known Hicks is a great leader. Quote Hicks is also one of the unquestioned leaders on defense. It comes with the territory. He’s Schwartz’s mouthpiece on the field and he must align the front seven. But the players listen to Hicks beyond the calls because his football IQ is off the charts. http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/philadelphia-eagles-jordan-hicks-rock-solid-linebacker-20170814.html Even going back to college... Quote Without any senior leadership to rely on at linebacker, the Longhorns are counting on junior Jordan Hicks to live up to the lofty expectations he brought with him as a top linebacker out of high school. "He can be a real leader," Texas coach Mack Brown said. Everyone in the program thinks so. So much so that they are disregarding his status as a junior and are looking at him in the same light as Acho and Robinson from 2011.
