Not really. Just the assumption going into the season. 3 pts, is 3pts!

They aren't better than the Bears last year or even this year but they are an elite unit. Didn't see the game, but wasn't the Bears' D slaughtered yesterday by the silver and black? You don't get results like that without being pretty damn good, I don't care who your opponents are.
CP3MVP
Nobody is beating this team. I love this defense. Most fundamentally sound I’ve ever seen. They don’t get beat over the top and they tackle perfectly Edited October 7, 2019 by CP3MVP
El Ramster
Have they played an explosive offense? No. Ok till then no. The best QB they’ve played is Josh Allen and he Isn’t even a QB...
PatriotsWin!
Ever consider that the reason their opponent's rankings are so low is because the Pats D destroyed their numbers.

I didn't see it either but it's a lot tougher to play defense when you have a horrible offense behind you. I'm giving the Bears the benefit of the doubt until I have more of a reason not to. No, because three of their opponents have zero wins.

Bears had the lead in the 4th quarter, punted and pinned the Raiders on their own 3-yd line. Raiders proceeded to drive 97 yards for the go-ahead TD. Apparition
People would've been asking the exact same question at this stage of the season about the 2000 Ravens, too. Just sayin'.
