Turnobili Posted September 23, 2020 Share Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) Simpson wasn't that good... he was getting walked back to the QB a few times in pass pro, and he was having all kinds of issues on run blocking assignments. A week of first team reps may help, but you can imagine BB is going to relentlessly put him in tough spots. We've all seen how well Jacobs is playing, but his low rushing average has been reflective of what largely hasn't been great blocking. For every two good runs he has, he's getting stuffed for a 2 yard loss because the line is getting blown up. Cable has his work cut out for him. I'm still flabbergasted that we are playing Good at RT... why did we keep Brandon Parker over David Sharpe?
