beardown3231
Can't wait to see the field go back to looking like absolute **** again. What are the Bears/city thinking here?
Sugashane
Why the hell can't they use a college field? There's no reason for the Bears to risk a star's health due to a rut in the grass from their games. Losing Mack or EJax to that would be maddening. Or the stadium that the city, you know, built for them like 12 years ago?
topwop1
Bears should switch to a hybrid turf/grass field like the Packers have up at Lambeau. This is the best of both worlds IMO and would prevent the field from getting trashed easily.

WindyCity
Will a Chicago Fire player or Kyle Long be on the ground more at Soldier Field?
BEAR FACE DOWN ARROW
https://www.packers.com/news/new-turf-ready-to-welcome-packers-into-2018-season The turf up there is pretty neat, tight trimmed grass but with the little plastic fibers sticking up just below the top of the natural grass Pretty sure Soldier field has tried a similar hybrid approach, but here it's a hybridization of landfill and clearance expired grass seed from Home Depot.
