This isn't true at all. They've done a lot of different things including cleaning house twice since 2013. You forget that both TT and Lynn worked together in 2017 to try to fix the problem. This has been by far the worst year.

What part isn't true?  That Dean tries to find the least expensive solution to a problem?  Because that's true.  That Dean's got a long trail of nepotism throughout the franchise?  Because that's true.  That Dean has a history of questionable hires?  That's true.  That Dean over-inflates his business acumen?  That's true, as well.

Yes, he recognized a problem when they overhauled the staff.  But the new hires he made were middle-of-the-road, at best.  No move towards potential innovators or consideration to exploring new technique or approaches.  Dean loves him some sticks in the mud.

Yeah this is probably the worst injury for someone like Rivers. Even moreso than Okung.

Yep! As much hype Tackles get for protecting the QB, thier is no one more important to a QB then having a Legit Center! Their ability to be on the same page as the QB with line protections, blitz pick ups, cadence,  ect can't be over valued enough.

For as much as I'd hate to lose Peters or Lane neither would effect Carson and the overall OL play more, then losing Jason Kelce!!

Huge loss for the Chargers!!

Hope he recovers and stays healthy going forward. Scary injury.

Probably puts the final nail in our coffin of playoff aspirations. We're just too depleted.

Okung, Pouncey, Henry, James and a lot of our backups are just too much. The strength we had in depth is gone and we're down to 3rd and 4th stringers in several positions.

Prepare to be disappointed. Chargers seem to be unable to develop any offensive line talent.

Lamp was such a can't miss prospect coming out though. So weird how he never materialized...at least yet. He had such great feet, was a stud athlete, had the size to handle power, had the athleticism to mirror speed, and was dominant against very good opponents. I don't even feel like he needed to be developed coming out. He was damn near technically perfect. He's not the mauler that Quentin Nelson was in college, but I didn't see any flaws with his game watching college tape.

Actually surprised that he lasted a year and some change with us.

He could barely walk after all the injuries in Miami, it was shocking to see him have a full productive season for the Chargers last year. He needs a full hip replacement from old injuries, and now this serious neck injury. Doesn't look good.

He had an ACL injury his rookie season  that sidelined him for a year and a half. He's currently playing catching up which is why he hasn't started yet.
