Between him and Kyle, that’s a tough blow to that offense. A protector and a passing game safety net down in the same week.

And our best OL Staley has been out the last two games as it is.

Yeah, it's going to be ugly this Sunday against the Rams.

Prayers up for Jimmy G.............

You guys are mentioning the run game and it undoubtedly takes a hit, but the passing game is even worse now with Skule/Brunskill as the starting tackles. Skule has been getting some help the last two games but now how much help could you give?

Let's see what Shanny could do now.

So a team that heavily relies on the running game from under center is missing their All-Pro FB and probably All-Pro or Pro Bowl RT? That sounds less than ideal.

I don't know if McGlinchey is Pro Bowl level, definitely not All Pro level yet, but the Pro Bowl level tackle on the team is Joe Staley....And he's out as well lol.

Don't forget that Staley is hurt as well

FYI, we will be starting tackles #4 and #5 for the season this week and without our starting full back. Lost Shon Coleman in the preseason, Joe Staley and now McG. Also lack our starting full back and will either be relegated to signing one off the street, or playing one of our tight ends at the position (unless by chance we decide to go ahead and bring up our TE/FB PS guy).

Hurts the short term and maybe cumulatively long term but not so much that they shouldn't be expected to stay contenders in the playoffs.

Your LT's name is apt. Our defense will be taking him to Skule. ;)

Aaron Donald has decided to break him.
