Not backpedalling at all, the fact he's missing some weapons has a relative value.

Ragna values it more than I do. Just because I don't see eye to eye with him, doesn't mean his point is invalid.

I think Jones has been sharp on shorter throws, but has been off on his deep throws. Ā I think part of that is the fact that his only deep threat is a late round rookie in Slayton. Ā Some is the Pats D being very good. Ā Some is him being a rookie. Ā

I think Engram, Saquon, and Sterling being available would make him look far less like a rookie.Ā

You told him his point was valid only for the offense but not for the Quarterback. So, according to you that does mean his point is invalid. You are absolutely backpedaling because now it holds true for both the QB and the offense as well as your point of him being a rookie playing a part.Ā

I suppose you know the difference between backpedaling and clarification.

The fact they're missing a lot of weapons, doesn't mean it's OK for him to bail out, like he did on that 3rd down with outside pressure. It doesn't mean it's OK to throw 5 yards out of bounds when he had a guy running free on the sideline.Ā

There's some impact on this game, but when I say he looks like a rookie, I'm talking about mechanics, movement and ball placement.
