coors
I say yes. Both have a DH and makes it more fair.
beekay414
Might as well make Quarterbacks play defense! They are professional athletes and all! (Yes, get the damn DH to the NL, now)
animaltested
Yes. Sports = Entertainment Hitters Hitting > Pitchers Hitting More hitters hitting = more entertainment = better game Without the DH, there is no Edgar Martinez, and that is not a world I want anyone living in. TENINCH
Watching a pitcher bat is one of the most boring parts of the game of baseball. Bring the DH to the NL!!

Of course, leave it to you to not recognize sarcasm. Someone made the comment that they are professional athletes so they should hit. It was tongue in cheek, hombre. Either way, it's stupid as hell to have different rules for the same sport. Pitchers are paid to pitch, not hit. I've also seen 3 pitchers this year on my team go down for extended periods of time due to batting/base running. It's stupid.

THE DUKE
Why stop there, why not just go full offense and defense? The majority of SS can't hit much, and some of those that do aren't particularly good fielders. Plenty of iffy CF too. Why not 9 defensive studs out there playing GG level defense and then the 9 best hitters a team can put together without worrying about if they can play defense or not? Compare the average shortstop's production to a pitcher's. It's a terrible comparison

Tell that to Joey Votto, Mike Trout, Paul Goldschmidt, Bryce Harper (I can keep going). Its a stupid comparison. As a batter, you take tons of time to work on your hitting/fielding coming up through the system. Pitchers focus solely on pitching. It's not even a legitimate comparison. Pitchers are basically specialists, just like NFL kickers.

Average wRC+ for each position C - 88 1B - 114 2B - 94 SS - 89 3B - 101 LF - 100 CF - 102 RF - 105 P - -19 (yes, that's a negative in front of the 19) That's not even a slippery slope. That's a slippery slope that falls off a massive cliff into a black hole (the black hole generates the negative sign).

RavensfanRD
No. Because I like that there is one sport with two different set of rules for one sport. I wish people would stop trying to change everything. Let's keep somethings the same got dammit!
