I think Megatron would have saved Mike Shanahan's career in Denver and the duo makes the Alshon/Marshall wr core look like childs play. Yes Cutler had a problem with coaching, but Shanahan/ Gase offered him the best offensive schemes of his career. If he would have gotten Megatron Cutlers career would of fell closer to Stafford/Romo on the qb spectrum because Megatron is that good. candyman93
Browns would have traded up for Jamarcus Russell and passed on Joe Thomas.

You do realize that outside of 1 year, the amount of targets he received falls right in line with the other top WRs of the time?

It’d be between him and Joe Thomas for that selection but I think they pretty easily would have went for AP.

Ragnar Danneskjold
My initial joke response to the OP is he would have languished in mediocrity in Oakland for several years and then been traded to the Patriots where he would set league records and get 5 Super Bowl rings. What a weird draft that was. I remember coming out of that thinking the Browns had played it perfectly avoiding Russell and trading back in to get Quinn in addition to Thomas. Then it just turned out Brady Quinn... sucked.
Malik
He wouldn't have played his whole career in Oakland that's for sure. Who was the last Raider that was there for about a decade? Their kicker? Edited October 17, 2019 by Malik
