The 49ers should call about Keenan Allen's availability, just for the fun of it.

Chargers season is up in smoke.

Eh. I think Keenan is still young enough to be in our long term plans. Even if we got a first from you guys (likely a late first at this point) the chances that he'd end up being as good a football player as KA are slim.

If/when we decide to take a young QB it will be important to be able to give him as much help as possible right away, and I think having KA on your roster does that.

Gosh, didn't he miss his entire rookie season, 2017, with an injury; and only played a couple of games last year, still not 100%; and now this?

Sort of went from a sexy college-tackle-switched-to-guard prospect to a shattered Lamp:

‘When the Lamp Is Shattered’
By Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792–1822)

  WHEN the lamp is shattered
The light in the dust lies dead—
  When the cloud is scattered
The rainbow’s glory is shed.
When the lute is broken,         5
Sweet tones are remembered not;
  When the lips have spoken,

Loved accents are soon forgot.

Team seems to be cursed with injuries the last 5 or 6 years.

At this point I actually feel bad for Rivers now.

years ago someone on that team must've had a premonition that prevented everyone from getting hurt and now they're all being taken out like final destination

2015/2016 were horrifically bad.

2017 wasn't really that bad.

2018 had some, but nothing completely devastating.

2019 sucks.

Prett much. The last two years gave me hope we had found a method. Looks like it's back to the drawing board.
