Broncofan
No word on compensation, but this early, I'd bet it's a Day 2 pick. Pour one out for #10, amazing comeback from Achilles, to top off an amazing DEN career. Hats off. Amazed he could still play at such a high level age 30 with an Achilles' tear. Elway did well to get this return for our rebuild. As for SF - Sanders immediately becomes their best WR - a true outside/slot weapon. And it makes life a LOT easier for George Kittle and JimmyG (who really has shown the same struggles post-ACL before the full-recovery 18 month window). This helps SF a TON. Plus, the team that wanted him most - NO, so a big get to play keep-away for GM John Lynch. Win-win for both teams. BroncoBruin
That's a good value for Denver and it had to be done.

AFlaccoSeagulls
I think this is a good trade at face value for both teams.

Forge
Also should not be overlooked, and brought up by @J-ALL-DAY in the 49er forum. We do not have a lot of cap to be spending in free agency next year with guys to sign as well, so we shouldn't be active. If Sanders walks after the year, we would likely receive a late round comp pick the following year.

LeotheLion
Would have thought this value would be closer to Sanu's. Like this deal for both teams.

BroncoBruin
Just now, LeotheLion said: Would have thought this value would be closer to Sanu's. Like this deal for both teams. Pats significantly overpaid but can afford to. Just wish they'd overpaid for our guy.
