Lions trade S Quandre Diggs & 2021 7th to Seahawks for 2020 5th

I thought he was a decent safety?

Is safety value really that bad right now or am I misinformed in Diggs?

WTF are the Lions doing? This is a terrible trade for them!

With McDougald and Lano Hill struggling with injuries, guess the Hawks wanted to make a move to bolster the position. Wondering if someone gets put on IR?

FYI Marquis Blair got his significant snaps of the year last week, and played well.

My guess would be Blair + Diggs moving forward and then once McDougald gets back they...bench Blair? Idk. Blair looked good on Sunday though.

Trade makes zero sense for the Lions. Even if they package the fifth to get a RB. Diggs was a captain and great locker room guy

I do see that his salary nearly doubles the next two years of his contract. Maybe they just didn't want to pay him? Can't see another reason for making this trade.

Not sure if Pete trusts Marquis yet to be the every down guy. The biggest no-no is Petes mind is letting WR get behind you. Its the reason Thompson has seemingly burned through all his good will. Seattle ran 3 safeties quite a bit last year, so we could see a rotation of Diggs, Blair, McDougald, and Thompson.

If that means Thompson won't see many snaps i'm all for it.

Doubt we see Thompson again moving forward, tbh.
