Which is logical, but it was a choice not a requirement. Curious if the Ravens lose an important game down the road because of a ST coverage mistake... Harbaugh isn’t the GM thus from his perspective he did HAVE TO release Bethel as its DeCosta’s call. Also Bethel for me is a smaller loss than Brynden Trawick was this season. Trawick seems to be a bigger impact player on special teams from what I’ve seen. Even if is close, id easily trade a special teams “ace” (who was on a unit that allowed a kickoff return TD) to get a 4th round pick. In Ravens draft history of note for the 4th round: Justice Hill, Tavon Young, Zadarius Smith, Kyle Juszcyk, Dennis Pitta, LeRon McClain, Ovie Mughelli, Jarrett Johnson, Ed Hartwell, Edwin Mulitallo, Brandon Stokley.
