I didn't realize how much his athleticism can help with containing kick/punt returners.

As I said in the Burfict suspension thread.  My problem isn't with Burfict getting suspended, my problem is all the other hits that if HE did it would be a suspension but it's perfectly fine for other players.  Any one of the hits below would result in Burfict being suspended:

He was easily one of the best gunners in the league last year for Minnesota.

One hell of a Special Teams player. Below average-average WR.

That was my thought as well. If it was Burfict doing that exact same thing to Tom Brady, he'd be in jail and facing felony charges.

Flippancy aside, I honestly do think it's hypocritical for the league to ignore it. This was clearly worse than the twisting of Cam Newton's ankle that got Burfict a $25k fine.
