Broncofan Posted September 10, 2017 Share Posted September 10, 2017 Luck being out Week 1 is no surprise, and not news worthy by itself - but Rappaport reporting that Luck didn't actually practice this week - that really pushes his timeline back. He wasn't put on PUP, which means IND is shooting to get him back before Week 8. IND's schedule first 6 weeks: @LAR ARI @CLE SEA SF TEN If he's not practicing yet, seems iffy to make it to Week 3, and if somehow they are 1-1, they might gamble to wait until after the CLE game. Seems like it's going to be the Scott Tolzien show for at least 2-3 games. Gulp. My guess - C Ryan Kelly isn't back until Week 3 at earliest. I don't see why they would bring Luck back before Kelly - Kelly allowed no sacks in 600+ snaps. Get him healthy, and get his OL at its best to keep him healthy. As tempting as it is to get him in there ASAP, we can't risk him getting re-injured. Franchise QB describes exactly what Andrew Luck is.
