Even if they're former players, and know people in the league, it's not like they're breaking down game film and watching every snap for every game every week. They're on television, and are paid to be interesting or controversial, not brilliant. Wouldn't let it get to you. Brian Baldinger is another guy that deserves more air time wherever he is. High level analysis is all I ask. I am surprised by the start as I had them at 6-2 after 8 games as well. So maybe a 4 or 5? I just believe in the guys leading the way. Like many I'm surprised with the dominating performances especially against the Rams and Panthers. My good buddy (who is not a 49er or Patriots fan) said Jimmy is going to get hate because of his good looks, being drafted, on the Pats and getting a ring, and getting hype. Ftn49 Posted October 30, 2019 Share Posted October 30, 2019 I thought we had huge issues on the Oline going into the year along with large holes in the linebacking corps and secondary (Safety more than corner) so I while I didn't go through game by game I was thinking 8 wins most likely and 10 and pushing for a wild card would have had me ecstatic. 10 on the surprise factor for me for sure. I saw a stat earlier essentially saying the niners have the most effective passrush in the last 25 years!
