Nightsight971
I need opinions guys n gals. My office's weekly NFL game winner picks has a tie breaker like everyone else. You predict how may points will be scored in the Monday night game. I guessed 40 points would be scored. My opponent guessed 47. 41 points were scored, and I lost. Apparently, our rules are guess how many points will be scored, but if its over your guess, you can lose to someone with a higher guess like this. I missed it by 1 point and lost to someone who was 6 points off. It was only $15 so it is no big deal. But it seems wrong. Is this the normal way it's done around other office picks? Thanks!! bigjohnson2009
That's a ridiculous rule and you got hosed. People just do the closest in points and then if it's tied split the $$.
Fl0nkerton
So if he guessed 99 you still would have lost? lol
NcFinest9erFan
I don't like it at all. I agree with @bigjohnson2009
Nightsight971
Thanks guys. I'll let the regulator know the whole world (3 guys) think his rules are vacuous!
CriminalMind
Terrible rule. At worst, it should be if you pick higher your out (not lower) Think price is right
