Its weird that of all the brews Americans could have chosen in the post-watered down pilsner world, they choose IPA. Like I don't get it. I think the curing ruins the overall flavor of the pork. Like pork belly and Korean samgyupsal use the same piece of meat, but are vastly superior to bacon. Also, agreed on coconut. Honestly, I feel like half of all beers just call themselves IPAs now. Actual IPAs are ok at best. And I actually agree that bacon’s not that great. It’s like the worst use of a pork belly.
