Just the Chiefs and Browns apparently.

As great a Win as that was, and it was impressive so let me be clear before attacked! It's still just one Win. Does it show they are capable of beating the Patriots who were everyone's Top team, absolutely!

However it's not much different then the opposite end of the spectrum where this same exact Ravens Team lost to the 2-7 Browns. Its 1 Win! It's not going to effect Homefield which I believe the Ravens need unless they Run the Table and someone else beats the Patriots to enforce the H2H.

Great Win Though, not taking anything from it, just not ready to crown them yet either.

No one gets a crown in the regular season. Being a top team in power rankings doesn't mean ish. It's all about putting yourself playoff position. Homefield and byes are nice, but neither are critical.

Before the weekend there was some belief that the Browns (who have the road H2H in the bag) would wake up and pass the Ravens since their schedule is much much easier than what Baltimore had left. So, Sunday was about as significant a regular season day as the Ravens could hope for.

Lamar Jackson is on pace for:

3626 passing yards, 64% comp., 24 TDs, 10 INTs

1274 rushing yards, 10 TDs

Total yards: 4900 Total TDs: 34

His numbers for first 4 games versus last 4 are entirely different. His passing production has dropped tremendously but his rushing has amped up quite a bit both in volume. From the eye test it seems Baltimore is best when he is running more but you just worry about durability with that.

Not having his main passing weapon is playing into that.

Also the first few games, teams sold out to stop the run so we passed it. The Ravens offense is based on take what the defense gives you. Also the Ravens defense was a lot worse the first 4 weeks so we had to pass more often.

Sure but that doesn't explain all of it. He is averaging 100 less passing yards in his last 4 and went from 10 TD passes to 2...there is also that they have been playing more from ahead in the recent games where they are probably trying to grind out the clock. I've only really watched the KC and Pats game and some of the Seattle one so this is mostly from just looking at the boxscores.

The reasons have varied basically. Against Pittsburgh it's just flat out that the Steelers defense played a great game and he played a bad one. He made some bad throws in the 1st half that gifted the Steelers some points, and since we were in a tight dogfight of a divisional game we basically just scaled back the offense and grinded the game out from there.

Against Cincy, Hollywood was out and Andrews was banged up and the Bengals are an awful against the run so the gameplan was just to run the ball down their throats. Against New England the gameplan was similarly predicated on attacking them in the run game and targeting our running backs and TE's on shorter throws to take New England's greatest strength - their elite secondary - out of the equation. Against Seattle the box score won't show it but he was effective throwing the ball but it was wet and slippery and everyone kept dropping the ball, so he basically just got fed up with the drops and decided to take the game over with his legs in the second half.

Unless we're 2+ scores down or if we're playing against dramatically inferior opponents (which there aren't many left of on our schedule this year), I don't think you're going to see this offense go completely pass happy, simply because even when teams do sell out to stop the run, it doesn't necessarily mean we can't still run the ball effectively, and in tight games the ability to work the clock and keep our defense off the field is such a huge part of getting us to victory formation. The Pats game is a perfect example of that - they were murdering us with their no huddle offense - but all we needed was one play from the defense (the Edelman fumble) to flip the script back our way and then go from there - and rather than give the Pats the possessions they needed to come back, we had all of 2 drives in the 2nd half, both of which were 8+ minute drives that resulted in touchdowns.

can't murder a defense if you sit on the bench. thus, running and extending drives to 8min+ was an effective strategy to minimize Bradys effect on the outcome of the game. Its just what Harbaugh loves. Minimize risk of turnovers and burn clock when you lead in the 2nd half. Can't say he's wrong, the results are there.

Wilsons on pace for about the same yardage, but more TDs. Watson, Stafford, Rodgers all in the same ballpark.

And of course, my boy Dak is on pace for 5100 yards and 36 TDs.

But obviously Lamar rushing is out of control. It helps that he is a combo QB/RB..... :D
