rackcs
Hey everyone, thought this would be a fun idea to try it. We did it on my old forum and I was told you guys did them back in the day as well. The process is pretty simple. You draft a director(s) and actors/actresses and you come up with an idea for a movie. We then vote on whose movie we all like the best. The draft will be a snake style. Let me know here if you would like to sign up and be a part of this. There are a couple of things I'd like input on from the participants if you sign up. Main ones are should their be a time limit on draft picks/what should it be, how many rounds should we go, and should we have a cap on participants. Let me know your thoughts on these issues. MWil23
I'm in. I assume any/all actors/actresses/directors/etc. are living or dead and in their prime?

I think the best way to do it is to do current. Which means no dead actors/actresses/directors. That's how it's been done in the past typically. It's as if you're casting a movie right now.

Pickle Rick
@rackcs do you have a link to a previous version or similar thing that we can look at to get an idea of how things go for this?

I'd definitely go snake draft, and I'd try to limit it to: Director Lead Actor 2nd or Opposite Lead Actor/Actress 5 "supporting" roles I think you can cap it at 15 or so I'd go like 10 rounds TOPS

In previous ones there was also some sort of UDFA thing after the draft too. On the WF forums it was done through a waiver wire system. It looks like in at least some of the FF forum ones it was usually done where anyone not drafted was eligible to be used in smaller roles in the movies. And you don't have to use all of your picks if you don't want to either. If your movie is about two guys in a room, you could use three picks only: two actors, one director.
MacReady
I’m in. Last one I made a hell of a lineup for a Dune adaptation. It would have been seriously legit. OMG, it was a good lineup. I nailed the Baron Harkonen casting, too. He was perfect.
