This windows is small because we have some major contracts coming up soon that would really alter the roster. freddie would still be here if he showed an ounce of being a competent OC/playcaller to be patience with his development of a HC. I don’t think the browns have that luxury to do that. Also with the way the team is they just need someone with the experience that the players really can’t discredit. No team would have held onto Hue for so long after 1-31. We are as patient as most NFL teams, thats not the issue a candidate like Rhule would decline an interview or many more would. Heckert, sashi, and dorsey. It seems in each case one or the other wanted complete power. It worked to an extent but never on a level for.sustained success.
