You’re not wrong, but nothing like pressure to hit the ground running or get canned to assure success.

I mean, well run organizations don’t show patience, why should we?

Well do the browns really have patience at the moment to not at least make the playoffs or at least be a true threat ? This windows is small because we have some major contracts coming up soon that would really alter the roster.

freddie would still be here if he showed an ounce of being a competent OC/playcaller to be patience with his development of a HC. I don’t think the browns have that luxury to do that. Also with the way the team is they just need someone with the experience that the players really can’t discredit. Like they were with Freddie towards the end

That type of short sighted thought process is how teams miss good candidates.

Freddie wasnt fired because of his 6-10, he was fired because of things that no team would put up with going into a second year.

No team would have held onto Hue for so long after 1-31.

We are as patient as most NFL teams, thats not the issue a candidate like Rhule would decline an interview or many more would.

😲 😂 no man.

Under Haslam coaches average 21 games before they’re fired.  21 games.

Not all for the same reasons.

Or how do you explain keeping Hue for a 3rd year after going 0-16?

Do you think any other team in the league would have kept Freddie for a second year after his ineptitude?

So you think it’s more likely we just hire one inept guy after another, or there’s simply no organizational structure?

Occam’s razor.

Most of our coaches haven't been given the talent. Most of our gms hadnt had good coaches. Davis and mangini. Heckert, sashi, and dorsey. It seems in each case one or the other wanted complete power. It worked to an extent but never on a level for.sustained success.

So you’re saying there was...... organizational dysfunction?

Who leads that organization I wonder?
