BLACK CATS:

The black cat. A game changer.

Dak - Nice bounce back after the INT to open.

Zeke - Looked great.

Defense - Pass rush and turnovers.

Matts4313

Honestly, the refs are on the permanent **** list. They are simply atrocious.

The flat starts are an issue for Dallas.

Black Cats:

#21 - Great game overall

#54 - Made plays everywhere

#90 - Welcome back to playing defense

#79 - Great first game

The entire o-line - Nuff said

#4 (second half) - Masterful work. Great command of the offense. Looked unbeatable.

#38 - Your play sucked, but you got hurt and didn’t return. Lo and behold, the defense got better. So, you get a black cat for taking one for the team and not returning.

Clappers:

#4 (first half) - Looked slow, poorly prepared, and made poor decisions

#24 - You were horrible tonight

Every WR - Seriously, catch something. Your overall play was so bad, I began to wonder if you could catch a god damned cold.

Discipline on defense - The entire defense let Will Hernandez get to them. Unacceptable.

The Clapper Himself - For yet again not having the team prepared to play at the start of the game.

It's cute how everyone is a number.... but good progress I guess :)

My primary takeaways:

1. Bennett will dramatically help this DL if he keeps his head straight.

2. Lewis will dramatically help this secondary if we continue to start him.

3. The OL is still dominant at full strength.

4. Our special teams are a disaster.

I find it hard to glean much from this game. The Giants are awful. This coming Sunday will be much more revelatory. Over the last 2.5 years, we’ve won 87.5% of our divisional games and 42.6% of our non-divisional games. I would be curious to know which teams have that drastic of a split. There can’t be that many.
